The hotel is situated in a great location, right in the center of all the main action in the old part od Lausanne. But that is the only redeeming factor. great staff! very friendly, and the hotel has a great location in the middle of everything! it is a small hotel and there isnt anyone at the front desk from 11 pm - 7 am. free wi-fi! which is hard to get at hotels. i have a room with 3twin beds in it. they were small but cute. they each... more

I stayed in the Voyageurs hotel in October during the Lausanne Marathon event. The hotel is a bit hard to find, it is in the centre of Lausanne with lots of 1 way streets and different levels of altitude. We finally found this hotel after the most frustrating search ( the streets in Lausanne turn and twist at all kinds of angles!). The rooms and breakfast were fine and the staff pleasant, however, the street noise is unbearable-- LOUD partying in the rooms nearby at night, followed by early morning shouts and clanging from vendors in the morning.
