The location is very central though definitely I would not walk around alone there at night. Lots of people offering you drugs but they don't harm you at all. The hotel was about 3 bus stops away from the train station. Buses went there frequently. It was close to the old town, including the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Overall it’s a nice basic hotel.

This is either a modern Ibis or one that has been recently renovated. I was most impressed with the good sized room, comfortable double bed and stylish decor. The hotel is located in central Lausanne. The rooms and breakfast/bar are average Ibis fare. There is lifts to all floors and a car park. The hotel is near to the main railway station and bus route 3 goes between the two.

Ibis is a away from noise of centre easy walking distance to places to eat, shop. Transport is fantastic hotels give you free travel tickets !! Do yourself z favour take the number 2 bus to the lake you won't be disappointed !!

good hotel well placed with satisfactory service and nice breakfast, however we had some problem with the garage because we were given to understand that a place was booked for us and this was not the case.
