For our two days summer visit in Zermatt we had chosen to rent two apartments in Hotel Alpenblick. The apartments are inn a separate building across the road in front of the hotel descending four stories beneath to the river going through the city. The apartments were Swiss style orderly and very clean. Beds are of type that can be... More

My husband and I stayed at the beautiful hotel Alpenblick for a night in July 2015. It was a very special experience to stay at this family run hotel. It was a pleasure meeting the owners Ingrid and Pierre who are always around taking extra care of all the guests. This hotel is just walking distance from the train station... More

We stayed for a night at Hotel Alpenblick. Zermatt is a car free town, we had to park at Tasch and take a train to Zermatt. The hotel is a bit far from the zermatt station. So we had to lug our luggage up, we could have taken a taxi for €12 a person got a two minute ride, but... More

We traveled to Zermatt in mid June and stayed at the delightful Alpenblick Hotel for three nights. The setting is beautiful. The hotel is a brief walk away from the hubbub of the town center and yet close to the Swansee lifts and the Gorge. Our room was on the second floor and serviced by an elevator. Unfortunately we had... More

My husband and I stayed there for a week in early April. The hotel is a traditional family-run hotel and ideally situated very close to the klein Matterhorn lift, where you can leave your skis and boots at the hire shop. There is also a ski room in the hotel. We arrived fairly late and took an expensive taxi from... More

I chose this from the good reviews on hotels.com. The hotel is very quiet and one block down the road and a block over the river to the ski rental and gondola. I could imagine walking back to my hotel in my ski boots if needed. The hotels staff are friendly and polite. I arrived late on the train and... More

Stayed at the Alpenbick for a week mid April 2015. Firstly i must confess to being a Zermatt-freak, just to put this in context, this is my 4th skiing trip here. The Alpenblick was perfect. Quietly located near the Matterhorn-Paradise gondola, yet only a few minutes walk from "Downtown" Zermatt. Great restaurant if you wanted to eat in, as I... More

Absolutely the best. We visit Zermatt often and have stayed in at least 18 hotels and the Alpenblick is the best. We have stayed here before and every time we return it is like being at home. Ingrid has the nicest welcome smile with a warm greeting. Pierre, her husband, is always helpful. The rooms are perfect and the meals... More

I booked this hotel via Expedia and glad I did. We called them before our arrival and they picked us up from the station. Although 5 minutes walk to the station and town center it was a nice touch as we had two big suitcases. I really liked the hotel. It is a bit run down and could do with... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Alpenblick over the 2014 holidays and had a wonderful stay. We had two twin beds pushed together with warm duvets, the room had a small balcony that we didn't use because it was cold but I did truly appreciate waking up and seeing the Matterhorn out the window from bed each morning! The... More
