Clean and tidy Helpful and cheerful staff Good price in Zermatt Safe Quiet Comfort, big and nice room Comfort public facilities, such as open area on ground floor and dining area provided free breakfast and added additional cost for dinner, good breakfast and dinner Far away from train station, walk around 15-20 mins, 2 stairs before arriving the hostel, inconvenient... As hostels go, and we have seen a few, this is top notch. Clean, affordable and meals will please most- dinner 17 CHF( book in the am) and breakfast included. Shared washrooms were spotless - remember to bring towels, bedding supplied. If you have lots of luggage take a taxi or bus from train station otherwise about a 15 min... More

Pros: - extremely friendly staff. Very helpful to make sure you get the most out if your trip - half price of most other competitor hotels ( or less than that). Zermatt is expensive - easy dinner offered for CHF16.50 prebooked. Save money compared to dining out Cons: - basic - no wifi in adjacent buildings - slightly harder to... More

We stayed as a family of 4, for 11 nights in an ensuite room. Plenty of space and storage in the room. Bathroom was very clean, with plenty of hot water . Only downside was the bunk beds. Room was large enough to fit a double bed and a set of bunks. The hostel was well set up for a... More

I stayed in a twin room with shared bathroom facilities. Toilets and showers were always clean and rarely had to wait for shower. Bed super comfy with linen provided. All rooms have a sink and lockable cupboards which was great. Food was excellent and staff all very friendly. Only slight downsides - showers were on a push button which timed... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in June in a private room with ensuite bathroom, on a half board basis which includes breakfast and dinner. Even though this is a hostel, by opting to stay in a private room gives us more privacy and the view from the private room which is in the annex building is fabulous !! Room... More

Ok, first the good points - the service was friendly and the breakfast was good. The views are nice. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place. Firstly, it is a long uphill walk from town. We took a private room with 4 beds. The room is very dreary - small and ill lit, and there wasn't even a cake of... More

Stayed here with a friend in a 4 bed dorm during September. Service and location were great - you could see the Matterhorn from our window. The breakfast was great and the hostel offered a nice dinner and dessert for 15 euro. The only thing that annoyed me was the shower - you had to push a button every 10... More

This youth hostel is nice and clean. The front desk staff are super nice and helpful. The mattresses are very comfortable, the best I have found in a youth hostel. The food in the dining room is delicious and is the best buy you can find in Zermatt for an evening meal. This youth hostel provides blankets and sheets. Do... More
