We just returned from a week's stay at the Chesa Valese and can't wait to go back. The rooms are large, bright and spotless. Each afternoon there was fresh fruit as well as bottled water in the room and in the evening, a piece of swiss chocolate was on our pillows. The buffet breakfast included croissants, rolls, breads, hard boiled... more

We spent one week at Hotel Chesa Valese. One suite, and one deluxe room. Everything was going great until our check out day. We checked out on Saturday. On Friday I spoke with the owner, and asked her if it is possible to ski on the morning of check out. She told us that we could ski until lunch time... more

I've been with my husband in Zermatt for skiing and we chose Chesa Valese Hotel which we are highly recommending for any purpose to everybody. Great position in town - close to center and easy access to all the ski runs, very comfortable and nice looking and more than everything - excellent services. One small example: after a day of... more

Sadly just a 1 night stay but loved every minute of it. Paid 250 CHF for a double via HRS. Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Service warm, hotel well situated. No downsides or negatives that I could see other than no restaurant but plenty of choice nearby. We were collected by their (free) courtesy shuttle (need to request... more

We've just returned from a one week stay at Chesa Valese. We have been very pleasantly impressed with the hotel. It is small (only 24 rooms) and decorated traditionally in wood and with all sorts of decorative objects like many hotels of this kind. We booked a room with Matterhorn view which was situated at the last floor - the... more

We visited the Hotel Chesa Calese during the Holidays and had a wonderful visit. Rooms are very nice and modern, and the wellness center was wonderful. They even had a drying room in the basement for our skis and boots. The staff was VERY helpful, and always had a smile on their face. We look forward to returning in the... more

This place is in town, easy walking to restaurants, shopping, etc. We called from the train station and they picked us up with an electric car and took our bags to our rooms ( not that common on our trip). The set up was a living room, one bedroom and bath on the main floor and another bedroom and bath... more

My parents, my baby and I spent two nights in Chesa Valese, and loved it. It is absolutely charming, the ultimate in quaint and cozy. The rooms were very comfortable, with every convenience, and well soundproofed (good for crying babies). We got a crib, and the staff heated up bottles for us whenever we needed it. There is a good... more

Having visited Zermatt before, we wanted to avoid the large hotels and stay in a small, quaint hotel with the flavor of the mountain village. With the Chesa Valese, that is exactly what we got and we couldn't have been more pleased. Daniela Julen ("Julen" is a famous hotel name in Zermatt) is a lovely and gracious innkeeper who runs... more
