We found it very difficult to book a room for 1 night at Zermatt during easter long weekend so when we found hotel adonis, we really not expect much. But to my surprise, except the location far from train station which you need a taxi (17 CHF, around 5 mins) the rest was very good. The owner and staff very... More

Hotel is far from train station but it's not a major problem as there is hotel shuttle(not free) plus you could walk around in zermatt. Room is comfortable, balcony has nice view. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. It's a good place for family to stay. Observed many families staying there during breakfast time

We stayed with our family in the only apartment available at this hotel and it was fabulous. The staff, particularly Michelle and Isabelle were extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment is well worth considering and we felt it was great value. We only had 5 people, but it can sleep 8! It is on two levels, which allows for a... More

We stayed here for six nights over the busy time between Christmas and New Year's. We were thoroughly impressed with our stay! The hotel is sweet - small, cozy, locally run, tidy/clean and well managed. We had two rooms - one room with two twins (shower, no bath) and the other room easily accomodated a queen bed (two twins together)... More

Unmemorable stay, warm welcome nine days full of good moments. Ms Isabelle the soul of the hotel and her assistant Michelle were always there and became our angel-guides... Every detail info was given to us before even ask for it. The hotel has clean rooms, extra soft bedding and linen, very fast free WF, tea or wine by the fire... More

For the price we paid, I was expecting something more to be honest. We spent here a week from Xmas to New Year so, for sure, the highest season ever. It's pretty well located: only few minutes by foot from the railway station and very close to the Matterhorn Glacier cable car. Our room was number 31, on second floor.... More

Very good sleeping accommodation, nice morning cold buffet and free wi-fi made our short stay quite pleasant. If you are looking for a decently budgeted place, that is not far from the happening places, and if you don't mind a 10-15 mins walk from the train station, this is your gem. To be fair, if you packed your skis, you... More

This Hotel was simple but hospitable. It is halfway between the centre of Zermatt and the main ski lift. Whilst there was little remarkable about the Hotel it served its purpose well. Note that if you contact the hotel before you arrive and you arrive between 9am and 6pm they will come and collect you from the station. The cost... More

We stayed at Hotel Adonis during early December with a large group of friends. The hotel rooms were cute, blankets very warm, breakfast OK and a separate space for skis in the basement excellent. There was even a possibility to leave your ski boots overnight in a boot dryer. The hotel room was a bit moist upon arrival but after... More

The rooms are clean and nice. The location is close to the cable station and the river. The reception is very friendly and helpful. We travelled with seniors so we took a taxi to the hotel. The price is 20 CHF for 5 persons, pretty expensive but better for elder. If you travel with young people, it is walkable range.... More
