OMG I SO loved this place. I was a bit nervous about finding the place or the walk there after reading people's reviews but really, it is not that bad. Zermatt is just a gorgeous little touristy village and you will find yourself walking around all over the place. You must get your key first from the Best Western Alphen... More

It is bit of a walk to get there. And you have to do it via best Western to collect the swipe cards. Ours didn't work which meant we had to go back up the hill to get ones that did work. The room is spacious. Just a little bit tired. it is a good price for a premier ski... More

I booked one month in advance and I requested the room to have "balcony with nice view" I got room number 111 with balcony facing a high concrete wall !!!.. So they should call it "balcony with concrete wall view". The administration did not listen to my request to change the room. It was the worst balcony in the entire... More

We only stayed one night and the room was quite large and comfortable. Could do with a renovation as it's quite old but we had a good stay as it was somewhere to sleep for us as we were busy all day and then left early for the Glacier Express

It was difficult to locate the place initially and we had to drag our luggage up a slope which we realise was the wrong direction. Please ask for Alphen resort instead of best western when asking for directions. To cook during travel can be a rather exhausting and time consuming ritual. This is further brought down if place of stay... More

This is an apartment style of accommodation and located quite far (for someone who has luggages to pull) from the train station. Reception is located at another hotel so it is quite inconvenient. Rooms are clean and face Matterhorn. Could have been better if there are shuttle service from station to reception and reception to room, and vice versa.

We rented a studio for the tow nights we stayed in Zermatt. The hotel is a bit of a walk from town but that was ok by us. A great view of the Matterhorn from the balcony and living area of the apartment was good size for a studio but needed updating. The furniture was old and cushions missing from... More

Our stay at Patricia was great! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, a view of the Matterhorn, small patio, blowdryer and everything we needed to cook. The room was clean and very warm. Check in at the Best western just a short walk, the receptionists were very nice and made sure we had all we needed. You... More

Residence Patricia belongs to Best Western, 5 min walk, clean nice apartments. We rented two studios, it worked very well for us, one for patents and one for kids. It has ski storage, ski bus across the street, just be careful it can be slippery. Location is good, 10 min walk to the center and train station. We'll be back!

Zermatt is an unreal town. The view of the Matterhorn is spectacular. This apartment was very nice. Spacious room, warm, balcony with a view and a clean and tidy bathroom. Self contained with a kitchenette (it's only missing an oven). Great deal for the price we paid, 100 CHF per night between two people. Would recommend.
