We stayed here for 3 nights in March. It was a clean, budget friendly room. We were disappointed with no garbage removal, and inconvenienced by the fact that the "front desk" was almost a KM away with no phone in the room. The service we did receive was friendly and bonus was the kitchenette and mini fridge.

Residence Patricia offers generous amount of space for the money. It also offers a small kitchenette, which is always handy to have in this expensive town. But the room could use an upgrade -- it didn't exactly match my expectations that I had formed after viewing pictures online. That's fine, but the room smelled of smoke (?). I know that... More

The room (112) smells from smoking and the bathroom was nearly lit. The bed was too hard and pillow did not support my head. I ate breakfast at Alpine Resort Best Western every day, OK but too expensive. I did not use the Hallenbad / Swimmingpool but my friend told me that it was superb. All together - this was... More

Dear runedjuvsland, Thank you for choosing the Residence Patricia. We are happy that you enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet (which you have choosed voluntarily for 20CHF/day) and your friend enjoyed the free wellness area. On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologise for not exceeding your expectation. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be... More

We stayed in zermatt for 2 days out of our 10 days trip in Swiss alps . Residence Patricia is a perfect place for a budget traveller . Kitchenette was good enough to cook a meal . Hotel was not too far from city center . Great value for exotic ski resort of zermatt. Hotel allows you to use the... More

My experience at this apartment is that it is a fine apartment with a nice view. The staff was great and the food for breakfast was awesome. Best bacon I ever had! That said, it was a bit of a hassle to go to the Best Western several minutes walk away to talk to the front desk, get my key... More

OMG I SO loved this place. I was a bit nervous about finding the place or the walk there after reading people's reviews but really, it is not that bad. Zermatt is just a gorgeous little touristy village and you will find yourself walking around all over the place. You must get your key first from the Best Western Alphen... More

It is bit of a walk to get there. And you have to do it via best Western to collect the swipe cards. Ours didn't work which meant we had to go back up the hill to get ones that did work. The room is spacious. Just a little bit tired. it is a good price for a premier ski... More

I booked one month in advance and I requested the room to have "balcony with nice view" I got room number 111 with balcony facing a high concrete wall !!!.. So they should call it "balcony with concrete wall view". The administration did not listen to my request to change the room. It was the worst balcony in the entire... More

We only stayed one night and the room was quite large and comfortable. Could do with a renovation as it's quite old but we had a good stay as it was somewhere to sleep for us as we were busy all day and then left early for the Glacier Express

It was difficult to locate the place initially and we had to drag our luggage up a slope which we realise was the wrong direction. Please ask for Alphen resort instead of best western when asking for directions. To cook during travel can be a rather exhausting and time consuming ritual. This is further brought down if place of stay... More
