I went to Zermatt to climb in order to prepare for an attempt of Kilimanjaro later in the year. I stayed at the Bellerive Superior for 4 nights and found that it was just what I was looking for. The staff was very helpful making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were also experts in finding guides and specialized equipment.... More

The hotel itself has been _VERY_ charming and is located in a good central location having the train station, the ski lifts, and the restaurants and pubs in walking distance. The hotel's lobby contains a nice stylish fire place with comfy benches placed around the fire. - A nice place to have a drink before going out or dinner (or... More

It was 3 of us travelling to Zermatt for a short 2-day trip and somewhat at the last minute. We were happy to find this hotel. The staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was standard Zermatt/Swiss fare (quality and quantity). The room itself was very comfortable, albeit the bathhroom a little outdated (typical Swiss in my opinion), and... More

It was our first time staying in Zermatt and we made a great choice in the hotel Bellerive. The location is excellent. The rooms are modern -wooden floors- flat screen tv's and they are really warm. The beds and pillows were great. You can hire your ski's from Azurra Sport- turn left as you exit the hotel- its 30 metres... More

We stayed here for one week in January for skiing. It's excellent as you can ski to the train that will take you to the mountain in 5 to 10minutes and you can then ski right to the hotel. The reception looks very modern and nice and the whole hotel is very clean and modern. Rooms are of average size,... More

I highly recommend this hotel. The stafff was great, very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast (included) was great and the location was great. We had a deck with a view of the mountains, other chalats and lots of paragliding around the mountains. The room and deck had wonderful views. The deck furniture included a sheep skin blanket for the chairs... More

Very friendly staff, great location in center of Zermatt, 10 minute walk from train station (maybe less). Very welcoming staff, good size balconies, great lobby fireplace. The bathroom had a very comfortable shower, and the views from the 3rd floor were ok. With other buildings so close, you must look over them, but you can certainly see the mountains from... More

Room was wonderful and with balcony view of Matterhorn. Service was great and I was welcomed warmly by receptionist. Modern room was decorated beautifully and very clean. Will stay here again. Breakfast was great too. More

We stayed two nights at the Bellerive and it was nice but nowhere near as wonderful as our stay at the Matterhorn Focus. Our room had great views of the Matterhorn and a nice balcony to enjoy them on. I think without the views I would rate Bellerive lower. So if you stay here definitely get a room with a... More

I just came across my bill of the time I stayed at Bellerive in Zerrmatt, it was back in August 2007, a very good hotel as i remember. Nice location. Had a fire place in the loby. The room was spacious and clean with nice furnishing and a nice bathroom, and we had a view of the mountains. Good value... More
