Apart from the porter who was delightful and very obliging, the staff were terrible. The hotel was virtually empty but we were stuck in a room with no view of the beautiful scenery and they refused to move us. We stayed at Hotel Ginabelle on a recent weekend, and it was the best hotel experience we had during two weeks in Europe. We phoned ahead, and the porter picked us up at the Zermatt Bahnhof (train station) to drive us via electric taxi the four blocks or so to the hotel. I'm returning to La Ginabelle for the third time in January and, out of curiosity, decided to see what TripAdvisor had to say. No reviews, at all!
