Wonderful service, delicious breakfast, hotel restaurant also quite good. The room is cozy and clean, bathroom was perfect, bed was super comfortable (which was a must after a race). The spa area also came in very handy although I wish that thermal cabin was not out of order. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I will come back... More

Upon arriving in Zermatt, it immediately struck me that I "knew" what type of town this was. Basically a ski resort town. Lots of hotels, restaurants, outdoor equipment shops, etc. My wife and I were on a 12 day vacation and had just come by train from Paris. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station,... More

We stayed 2 nights with the very helpful and cheery Julia at the reception. And I also have to say the rest of the team in the restaurant has been exemplary and great. We had the most wonder room as well though I am sure the other rooms were very good too as the Matterhorn facing rooms has a good... More

We made a trip to Zermatt (Zermatt is a car free resort) . The Hotel Bristol near the old church in Zermatt. The common areas have an old-world warmth to them and the guest apartment had three bedrooms and a common kitchen, dining, and living room. The Bristol was also close to the cable car for the Klein Matterhorn -... More

We stayed at the Bristol in late June and loved our time here! We selected a room with a Matterhorn view, which I would HIGHLY recommend. Our room was on the fifth (highest) floor, came complete with a wonderful balcony and we were able to see out over the whole town and had an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. Our... More

Great view of the Mattehorn, clean and tidy room, great breakfast, phenomenal service and a good restaurant. Can't really find anything negative with this hotel. It's not on the main street, but who cares about that two minute walk? I don't and would gladly stay here again.

I used hotel Bristol as the base for the Zermatt Ultramarathon. The staff were very friendly and opened the breakfast buffet early for us runners. The breakfast is fabulous. Rooms are newly renovated, modern and clean. If there are no clouds, you have a uninterrupted view to the famous "Horu" (that's how the locals call Matterhorn, Toblerone is another name).... More

Good hotel … convenient location near to station … although strictly not a walkable distance with luggage bit a wonderful breathtaking view of the Matterhorn does away with little inconveniences … surrounded by some mouther watering restaurants and sports rental services … the breakfast menu was good and overall ambience was nice. My room had a small terrace which was... More

Walk from train station was not too bad. Absolutely beautiful views from a very nice balcony! One of the staff members was very helpful. There was a really nice little bar, and breakfast was good, but the restaurant was not open for dinner when we were there on June 3, 2014. Nice hotel overall. We loved Zermatt and wished we... More

This was an amazing place to stay. It had a cozy feel to it, and an amazing breakfast included in the room price. We stayed in a room with a picture-perfect view of the Matterhorn and of Zermatt below. We were considering staying in a hotel with a more "central" location as it appeared on the map, but we were...
