Loved our stay here. We had a corner room, so it was large and very nice. Great bed, nice sitting area and large and wonderful bathroom with a great bathtub. My husband wanted a room with a view of the Materhorn and it was a great view with a balcony. you could even lay in bed and see the Materhorn.... more

We booked late for New Year 08-09 and there was very limited availability in Zermatt. La Couronne fitted the bill. We spent Labor Day weekend at the Hotel La Couronne and had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and our junior suite easily accommodated our family of four with plenty of extra space. We had a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn from the balcony and our bed. Sunrise over the mountain is definitely worth getting up early to view.... more

Our room was on second top floor and in typical Swiss style, the roof of the hotel was quite sloping which made the interior of our end room a little awkward.
