Pay the extra few dollars for the Matterhorn view! We can literally lay in bed and have an unobstructed view of the peak of the Matterhorn. Nowhere else can you get even close to this for the price. The room was small, clean and basic, the bathroom could have used some updates. The breakfast buffet was very nice - loved... More

Three of us stayed at the Hotel Primavera this past April for 3 nights and 2 days skiing. The Hotel is basic clean and affordable. The location is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. If you are carrying a lot of luggage or not up for the walk I would recommend a taxi. The Sunnegga Furnicular and... More

It's not that near to the train station, but I rated 5 stars for its location because you can see Zermatt in its full glory from the front of the hotel (on a clear day, of course). The front desk staff was friendly and breakfast decent. Room was clean, but a tad small if you have quite a bit luggage.... More

Hotel Primavera is a good option for those trying to keep the costs down in Zermatt. It is only about a 10 minute walk from the train station and located easily to enough for the main attractions, all the wonderful ski slopes. While possibly pricier than most places you would stay outside of Zermatt, Primavera offers a comfortable room. It... More

We stayed at Primavera for five nights and were very positively surprised. The hotel is located near Sunnegga lift, within walking distance from the train station, in a quiet street. Rooms are simple and nice, staff was very helpful with all our requests and the breakfast buffet has a good variety of food for everyone. A big plus: primavera got... More

We had 2 nights stay at Primavera early winter last year. A bit of walking from the train station and we enjoy the walk. Booked 3 rooms and all rooms has great view. Family room is just nice for a family of 4. Breakfast was really good and nice freshly brewed coffee for a day start. My children loves the... More

This hotel is advertised as "up the hill" from the train station but if you don't have piles of skis and other luggage is really a very easy walk from town center. The benefit is that it's also on a calm street with a couple restaurants nearby but not too much activity. The room was clean but not fancy. The... More

Room was comfortable, internet worked fine and the free breakfast was nice. The Hotel is not close to the train station but not too far to walk. Didn't the staff around a lot but they were helpful when giving assistance. Good value for money

great service ,even when reception is closed. Very good breakfast. had issue with lights, owner came down immediately. price for 2 nights including breakfast very reasonable. if you hate noise close window or ask for room at the back. if you like noise, like me, stay in a room at the front.

We booked this hotel the morning we wanted to check in as we had to make a last minute change to our travel plans. It was well priced, and the location is good- about 5 minutes walk from the central hub in Zermatt, so not quite as crowded but easily close enough. The room was a good size with a... More
