My parents, my siblings, myself and latterly my wife and our children have stayed in Haus St Theodul (to give it's full name) over the past 30 odd years. We've enjoyed the various studio's, one and two bedroom apartments and of course the Penthouse. Most of the time was between December and March for skiing, but we've also managed trips... More

Location is really perfect if you want to enjoy life in the center of Zermatt, just a 5 minutes walk from the station, shops, bars and restaurants.
The building is appearing somewhat dated, so is the interior of the apartments. But kitchen, bathroom and beds are renewed and more than sufficient. If you don’t expect a 5 star level, Theodul... More

it's simpa for a big family, but the decoration is out of fashion. Bedrooms are not first standart, seems dirty. Children love jacuzy, but children are children, ok? Very well located, you can walk to the station, or to all cables.

Cozy room with spectacular view. Big and well equipped kitchen enabled us to make some dishes. It was so comfortable to live here. The room was clean and quiet. We slept tight at night. Just want to stay here longer. It was a great deal ! The price only allows you to reserve 2 beds in hostel dorm. In next... More

We had 2 families plus friends -about 14 people stay - Australian, Swiss, South African and English. After booking the place and then reading the terrible review we were really concerned and so my partner and his family went and checked the place out a few months before our arrival for Xmas. They all said it was fine and once... More

We have been coming to this place on and off for almost 20 years. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the station, near supermarkets and shops. The rooms maybe old but are clean with everything you may need in an appartment(cutlery, crockery, sat tv etc) . (A number of apprtments have been renovated last year). Once we stayed in... More

No luxury here in this penthouse, though we did have double glazing. The building entrance smells like a dirty nappy and the ski room stinks of motor oil and has two moldy couches and a old swollen chipboard table. However, there are boot warmers but only half work. We knew the decor was from the 70s but it's so run... More

We love Zermatt, and go there quite often for a week end or for a week as we live only 2hrs from there. This time, we were really unlucky, and the (nice and modern) website got us ! This is one of the oldest house of Zermatt's modern area, a 4-floor building from the 60's that did not know any... More
