The hotel has a lovely traditional feel, good service and a nice location in the centre of Zermatt. The room was a standard twin which was the only room available at the time of booking. We would usually upgrade but were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the comfort. The hotel does not have an indoor pool... More

The room was of ample size, the wifi worked seamlessly, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff was professional and courteous, and the location of the hotel was in proximity of various transportation modes. In addition, the hotel, and its facilities are clean, and I would definitely stay there again.

Walliserhof is a beautiful Hotel in the center of Zermatt next to the train station - it's perfect for visting the whole village by foot. The employees are giving their best to make your happy. If you want to go skiing, taxi's are not that expensive (10 CHF for 2 / 15 CHF for 5). Also the Gornergrat Railway ist... More

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times as it has a nice location in the center of Zermatt. This stay started off exceptionally. The hotel picked us up at the train station and we got an upgrade on the room - major kudos! The service staff were excellent from the restaurant to the drivers. Food at the restaurant... More

We stayed here for two nights with a group. It was a great stay...large and very clean room with a balcony, great restaurant, and friendly staff. We sort of liked the quirky uneven floor which went "downhill" a bit....just because this is a very, very old hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

All visuals demonstrate traditional charm, yet all conveniences are modern. Like all of Switzerland, extremely clean and well maintained. Natasia arranges a plentiful breakfast and even pours your coffee. Location is smack in the middle of main street, easily walkable with rolling your luggage from the train station.

It is a very nice and cosy hotel on perfect location in the center of Zermatt. Its interior is classy and traditional. The rooms are very clean and provide enough space. Though it is not the cheapest hotel but the value for your money is it worth.

Typical ski hotel. Very clean and maintained very well. We had a lot of room for 2 people. Our room consisted of two full bathrooms, two bedroom one with king size bed the other with two double size beds. A living room and a kitchenette. Bed and pillow were very hard. Hotel is located 2 blocks from train and in... More

Staying at the Walliserhof was a highlight. The rooms were large & spacious with a view overlooking the main street of Zermatt, but with the windows closed, no noise from the street came in. The rooms were decorated with a pine wood decor & made you feel warm & cozy. The rooms keys were actual keys on a cow bell... More

Friendly staff and comfortable room. Access from the street to Reception rather awkward and a strong smell of Fondue was not the best intro. but being on the main street and only 4 minutes from the station made it a convenient base for the 3 days we were in Zermatt. Food in the hotel was good.
