We were so excited to arrive here once we got off the train from Geneva. Just a 5 minute walk from the train station which is very convenient! A very sweet proprietor was there to welcome us. Had high speed internet on a public computer downstairs. Had a room with a sink, but was a shared toilet/shower down the hall. Should have asked for a private room with all of the above. However, was great, the wood boards were slightly creeky so if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Great view of the Matterhorn from the deck of our room. All in all for the value and location I would definately stay there again!

The floors creak,the carpets are worn, the electrics are in visible conduit and the plumbing is basic but it has great views of the Matterhorn, it's cheap, central, has character and the breakfast and evening meal are excellent. Evening meal is 4 courses for 22CHF and for 3 of us in a room it was only 52CHF pp B&B. Good trekkers hotel.
