Our stay at the Phoenix was fantastic! The staff was always available to help us find places to eat and things to do. Their breakfast was a great way to start the day. Very close to town and the ski lifts with an excellent view of the Matterhorn (of course!). Very clean and well maintained. Our rooms were cleaned and beds made daily. The lobby has a great sitting area with a bar- a nice place to have a drink with the group! Highly recommend staying here!

The Hotel Phoenix was amazing! The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast to die for! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in walking distance to the slopes/restaurants (5-10 min) but far enough away from the commotion of main street Zermatt. In addition, there is a great ski room with boot driers that made the dreaded morning boot-up a breeze!

My wife and I recently stayed a week at hotel pheonix during our holiday in Zermatt. Hotel Pheonix was the perfect place to start and end our days! The staff were very helpful and accommodating to any of our needs, such as arranging for shuttle transfers and seeking out spa services. The included breakfast was vast and delicious, every morning. We had a deluxe room with a matterhorn view, and it did not disappoint! Absolutely stunning views in a very clean, modern stylish room. Thank you for making our trip such a special time!

Hotel Phoenix was a great place to stay during our time in Zermatt. The location was perfect. It was a quick walk to city center, the train station, and lots of places to eat. I felt very safe getting to the hotel and during the stay. The room was clean, bed was comfy, and our view was great. We had the breakfast included in our stay and that was well worth it. The front desk staff was lovely and always willing to answer all of our questions and set up a taxi for us to get back to the train station (we would have walked if we didn't have our suitcases). My husband and I both agreed that if we ever come back to Zermatt, we would stay here again. Thank you Hotel Phoenix staff!

We could not have been happier with our stay, down to every detail. First, the room was BEAUTIFUL. No photo does it justice. in photos, It looks like maybe you’ll see a sliver of the matterhorn but you will wake up to the matterhorn in the entire window view. It’s surreal. The bed was so comfortable, and there was so much space for our belongings. We loved the included breakfast. The room was warm and cozy, at one point I fell asleep on the decorative couch because of how cozy the room felt. Totally worth the splurge if you want a vacation to remember. Only a ~10 minute walk into town and less than 10 minutes to the nearest lift. The owners were very kind as well!

This was a spur of the moment decision getaway while on a work trip to fit in some skiing. Nice clean hotel, nice staff, quiet location and building. Easy walk from the train station with luggage, walking distance to ski rental shops and the ski lift system without needing the bus which can sometimes be tight on space. Would definitely stay here again!

Wow, for an Alpine hotel this is everything you need in the winter with that wonderful Alpine atmosphere. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful which is what you need when travelling. All were very kind, caring and polite. Many spoke many languages which is also very helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I have come across in my travels, a smorgasbord of what of what people want for breakky. I could not recommend this hotel more. Also, not a great walk from the train station, a little hill but stunning views along the way. At breakfast if you sit in the corner bench seats you can look at the Matterhorn and there are views to it from the rooms listed with a view of this famous mountain.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Phoenix over the Christmas/New Years break. The staff is lovely, especially Yolanda, who was so nice and helped us with ski slope recommendations and was always up for a friendly chat during apero hour. They even had a special champagne toast on New Year's Eve. The candles in the lobby and holiday decorations were great; I thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire to have a snack and drink before heading to dinner. Easy walk to Sunnegga ski lift. The room itself was very clean. Would highly recommend; we hope to return in the summer sometime soon.
