This hotel is situated up a steep slope and if you are carrying lots of luggages like us, it is better to call the hotel for pick up service once you reached the train station. It will cost you CHF5 per person per trip. (Electric cars and horses are the only form of transport in this lovely little town).. We... More

The hotel is located approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station, so if don't have a ton of luggage, walk and enjoy the fresh air and sights. The hotel itself is really nice. The staff was super kind and helpful. The rooms are a little small but clean and comfy. We were on the bottom floor and had... More

My wife and I had planned at first to stay for 2 nights but shifted our travel plans and stayed an extra night after spending our first night here. The hotel and our room (room 505) were lovely, we had a nice view of Mt Matterhorn from our balcony. It would had been a great view if not for a... More

This hotel has great service. The hotel concierge was so helpful and helped us with all our issues. He offered us many ideas and tips about the attractions and hiking nearby. The breakfast spread was really nice. The rooms are bare but part of the style... very clean, with room service daily. We blew the electricity in our room twice... More

We had a twin bedroom with a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn for 5 nights. The staff, location, cleanliness, etc. could not have been any better. We were able to use several of the cable cars to hike in different areas nearby. The scenery and hiking in Zermatt is amazing! The trainride from Brig was fun. When we... More

Modern, well built hotel nestled in the middle of Zermatt, Switerland. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff was so courteous and helpful and the owner Joseph was equally gracious and kind. The breakfast was very good, also! Lots of items to choose from.

We gathered here for a family reunion and found personal service and a very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast and reception staff were helpful and let us watch the World Football Cup final as a group. Get a room with a view of the Matterhorn.

Room was very nice and simple. First night we showed up after 10, receptionist (owner?) was extremely pleasant. I plugged a US plug with a converter into the wall and the electricity blew in our room. Went downstairs and picked up the reciever to call. Explained to the man what happened. He was very nice about it even though he... More
