The upside to staying at Zurbriggen is that our vacation kicked off to memorable start. The downside is that the rest of our trip will pale by comparison! We came to Zermatt at perhaps the deadest week of the year.Very little going on and few restaurants even ere open. Fine by us! The hotel had a personable and gracious staff... More

Where d I begin to describe the amazing experience my wife enjoyed in this fantastic place? Olympic gold medallist and skiing legend Pirmin Zurbriggen himself was kind enough to pick us up at the train station and drive us through Zermatt's oh-so-Swiss streets to the hotel on the edge of town (but within 1200m walking distance of everything). We had... More

The hotel is located at the edge of the city, which makes it very close to nature and outside the bustle of the Zermatt city. The pool area was really nice and especially the jazucci was excellent after long days hiking. And of course the view just directly towards the Matterhorn. The rooms were nice and bed comfortable, but the... More

Excellent service and beautiful suites in a wonderful building with outdoor spa and indoor pool. Frankly no negative points. Here are the positive ones: - we traveled during the afternoon and the reception called us to know our estimated arrival time in order to send us the electric car. Very kind and helpful at the reception! - we then arrived... More

Thank you for a wonderful week in your fantastic Olympia suite. The best view over Matterhorn. This will be a nice memory for us. You and your staff made everything perfect. We felt like guests in your home.

We stayed in one of the suites with balcony facing Matterhorn. The view was well worth the price paid for the stay. We met the owner, a highly respected Olympic skier during the "aperitif night" at the lounge. While we were browsing through the biography and books in the hall we noticed that it was his birthday the next day... More

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at this charming hotel. In fact, this might be one of my favorite hotel experiences...ever! This is a small, intimate property. Our suite opened onto a patio with a direct, breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. Our suite was roomy, comfortable and inviting. Every morning, breakfast was served in our room, rolled... More

when your better half gets up at four in the morning, looks out of the window, screams "matterhorn!" and then stays out there for some astrophotography for the next hour, you know you've got the view. but there is more than that to it. our suite was just amazing (with a view of the matterhorn from our bed), the bathroom... This was our second year in a row here, and once again, our stay at Suitenhotel Zurbriggen was just as memorable as last year. Luckily for us we had 2 weeks this time. I will never get sick of the Matterhorn views. The welcome, service, hotel standard, room, breakfast, staff and wellness area are just as wonderful second time, all... More

My husband and I spent a glorious week at the Zurbriggen over Christmas this year. It was pure luck that we booked the last suite available in the hotel earlier in the year without benefit of much research and it turned out to be a spectacular choice. We recognized our luck immediately as seasoned travellers but had this confirmed by... More
