We have just returned from a weekend trip at Hotel San Carlo. The room was simple, clean and compact, but you can find anything you need. The hotel location was very close to Lugano lake(but you can't see the lake from your hotel room) on the shopping street in centre of the town, (we were a bit afraid of some... more

Hotel San Carlo was located right on the Via Nassa in Lugano. About two blocks from Lake Lugano. Overall room was clean (a little tacky though). Beds were comfortable but walls were a little thin and could hear our neighbors. Our room had a sink in the bedroom. Separate toilet room and shower room.
