Just spent three nights there on a half board package. Hotel is in the traditional Swiss three-star style without any extravagances. Rooms are ok, shower/toilet quite small with a stingy soap and shampoo. At breakfast you may be placed at a large table with other guests because the waitress can't bother to set a new table for you. Anyhow, waiters/waitresses work heavily, I think they are understaffed. So at dinner, it takes about an hour to serve the menu. If you have time and can sit outside and enjoy a nice summer evening thats ok. Food is quite traditional swiss dishes, it's ok too.
Hotel is kind of cozy, and rather quite compared to the central location. Guests are mixed in terms of origin, mainly Swiss, but also German, American, English and French were there during our visit. An asset is definitely the location in the centre of Paradiso just adjacent to the San Salvador Cable-Car and a 2 minute walk to the lake and boat jetty.
