This hotel must have been built 100 years ago, and renovated very little since by the looks. You can appreciate the old world charm of this hotel, when you have your barely adequate continental breakfast, the high ceiling with its' ornate design is interesting. Not a bad hotel but a couple of things to worth noting 1) the hotel is in Paradiso rather than Lugano, which in itself was not a problem for us but is a good 20 minutes walk from Lugano (although a bus route passes the front of the hotel) 2) Expect effecient service rather than service with a smile ....... more
