Everything about this hotels screams old, tired, rundown, past its prime. I'm not talking about old fashioned charm, either. It's wedged between an ugly apartment block, an auto repair shop and a low-class night club/strip joint. We had the best room in the house (or so they told us) and the view of the lake was partially blocked by the... more

A cosy hotel in a quiet area very close to the lakefront. Rooms were clean and towels changed every day. Although it's about 25 minutes walk along the promenade to the centre there is a train station 9 minutes walk away called Lugano Paradiso. The breakfast cnsisted of cereals, yoghurts, croissants, tea, coffee, juice and was quite good. Reasonably priced. more

We stayed at the Domus in July 2004. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was fairly large, clean and what you would expect from an average price hotel.
