I have never come across such unhelpful and unapproachable reception staff, in particular the senior receptionist. Well, we love Lugano and always stay at the Hotel de la Paix. We do like the terrace and it is great if you have a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Location is good and the bar is actually quite nice and old fashioned with a certain charme. Staff always friendly, really nice. more
