This hotel is conveniently situated near the train station, the lake, shopping, restaurants, etc. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us connect to the internet on the computer (minimal charge). We stayed here for one night after catching the Lake Maggiore Express from Stresa. Good idea to come by boat and return by train. The hotel is very near where the boat docks and close to the train station too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely. served in a beautiful dining room. This is a nice hotel, not absolute luxury, but clean, well located and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel du lac is the location.
