St. Moritz is high end. It is a lot of fun, but the prices can get outrageous quickly. To that end, I cannot say enough about Hotel Arte. It was very basic in decor, but I loved the idea of the rooms being representative of different countries. We stayed in "Australia", the first room on the first floor. It was... More

We stayed here for 1 night before taking the Glacier Express. It is a long uphill climb by foot or an expensive taxi ride to get to. The lift was not working but fortunately we were on the first floor. The room (Australian theme) was small but comfortable and quiet. The breakfast offering was good. Expensive like most in St... The hotel is small only 9 rooms, but nice and clean and FRIENDLY, and is situated in the central av St Moritz. They also have a restaurant with the best Tiramisu every! The breakfast is also very good - you should definitely stay here. We stayed in room 31 + 33 on the top floor - really nice.

All staff were extremely helpful, giving us many suggestions for tourist activities. Rooms are decorated with fun themes; shower has many different heads, wifi and TV available, very clean, delicious breakfast and a really good pizza restaurant. It's a great deal for St. Moritz in value for the money.

Amazing place , great hostess . The lift was not working but they helped us with our luggage to our room . We stayed in the Africa room which was tastefully decorated . Breakfast was sumptous and good . The hotel is not at a walkable from the station . Advisable to take a bus , it is free if... More

After arriving at Train Station in St Moritz after enjoying the fantastic Glacier Express, we planned to walk to Hotel Arte. It was much steeper than we expected and we didn't find the "escalator" we heard about from another reviewer. We actually caught a bus and even though the Hotel was not on his route, the driver took us close... More

Why so #cool#? 1. Clean and a friendly staff. 2. Each room a different decoration, ours Egyptian. 3. Middle of town. 4. Excellent breakfast buffet. 5. Downstairs excellent Pizzeria open until 1 am, 1 am in Switzerland very rare. 6. Reasonable price. 7 Simply a fun and cool hotel as others have commented on Trip Advisor.8. Popular with the Cresta... the hotel is central to St Moritz main town - easy walking distance to everything. There is no on-site parking, except by special arrangement (4x4 is helpful) but underground parking is close. The funicular railway is about 300 meters away, but it's not an easy walk in boots, carrying skis. Breakfast was excellent. Simple, but a good spread. The room... More

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Arte one night the end of December, as the final leg of our Glacier Express trip across Switzerland. It is a wonderful little hotel in the heart of the main part of St Moritz. From the moment the taxi dropped us off, Susie (the manager and "jack of all trades") took exceptional... More

Lovely place, good neighborhood pizzeria on ground floor. Trendy, with each room having a theme. We chose the Japanese inspired room on the end, which was a little smaller, but had two large windows looking out onto the mountains. A bit difficult to find, but quiet and away from the streets. Close to restaurants in area, close to frequent, easy-to-use... More
