The directions we'd been given to read the hotel from the train station were sketchy to say the least. After having trekked 850m almost entirely uphill, we later learned that to get to the hotel from the train, you need to cross right through the car park on the left as you come out of the station, walk up and... We took a taxi from the train station which was not expensive. Room although not spacious was clean and comfortable. Bathroom could use some updating. Beautifully decorated breakfast room. Excellent choice of items and very good service. No front desk service or breakfast until 7 a.m.so if you need to check out earlier you will need to make prior arrangements.

Soldanella is a mixture of modernity and old …. the property is old but the amenities blended well into the old structure …. it was nice to breakfast with sunday flooding in through huge windows.. room was good with a separate section for sitting … we were there for a day and wished we could have stayed a little longer... ..... charming family run hotel. Small (European) rooms - even after an upgrade. But the location was ideal and the view was amazing. Little on site "pub" overlooking the lake was fun relaxing after a long day of exploring. Especially loved being greated by the friendly family dog at the front desk. Would stay again.

When we booked we requested a lake view, you will not be disappointed. The hotel is family run and has a true Swiss ambiance about it. The breakfast is served in a lovely dinning room, and was very good. The staff was eager to give recommendations for dinning and knowledgable about the area.

This is an excellent family run hotel full of charm and quirkiness. The staff are just great, the food very good and the rooms spacious with excellent newly renovated bathrooms. Great location in this great town!

This hotel just bursts with charm of a not so far by gone era. The staff makes you feel at home immediately. We arrived after they had quite a lot of snow so the owner gave me his parking space. Not done every day. We had a lovely room with a view and I mean a view. Great vista over... More

A very good value for price in St. Moritz centre. The rooms are a little old fashioned but very charming and I didn't miss a thing. Breakfast is large, good and in a huge turn of the century eating hall. Generally the whole hotel is very classy. My highlights are the lively bar, nicely decorated with impressive Cresta Run memorabilia... More

The crew is amazing, although not all of them speaks english, but as much as they serve you well, I don't really mind what language they talk. The breakfast is very good and the view from our room was jaw dropping. I remind us getting late to check in and at that time everything was dark nad we could not... More

Sometimes you book a room with a view and you get something in the distance through a small hole in the wall. This wasn't it the huge picture window and unbroken view to the lake and mountains in the distance was spectacular. This is a proper Hotel, clearly well looked after but has real character. The lift is quirky and... More
