Stayed here this last weekend....and was enchanted by many things. Spa area very quiet and peaceful. Superior room with the MOST comfortable beds. Great fluffy robes and lovely bathroom and facilities. Breakfast was delicious and varied and Angie at the bar very helpful and entertaining. Stayed 7 nights at the Monopol in a superior room. Room was not large but was perfectly adequate; Comfortable bed and a couple of chairs and a small table. Bathroom was decent size with bath and shower (over bath) and double sink. Good hanging space. The service in this hotel at front desk and in restaurant was very good indeed.... more
