I stayed at the Solaria traveling on business, choosing it because of the price versus other hotels, traveling to Davos for a conference. Thus, staying there was a bit atypical of its usual clients, and I very much suspect the good rate we got was because the conference was before the summer season. We were heading to Davos to go snowboarding (first time on real snow abroad) sopaid £90 a night for 4 nights at the beginning of March (compared with over £200 a night for a hotel). In the summer season, this place is a great value. We paid $45 for an apartment with a balcony, two twin beds, a bathroom and a kitchen. The front desk staff are english speaking and very helpful. Stayed at the Solaria from Dec 25th to 31st while attending the Spengler Cup hockey tournament. The Solaria is located about 500 meters from the main road in Davos, called Promenade.
