Unfortunately, for one of the rooms, on the first floor of the building, there was the courtyard lamp just outside the window, with a pale curtain to shield it. We had a very large room, two floors above the reception desk. We had a separate sitting area with a table, and a large bathroom. Just returned from a Great Rail Journey which included a 4 night stay at the hotel. We were lucky enough to get the flower balcony room at the front and it was perfect in every way.
