This is an excellent choice with beautiful views from South facing rooms. The lobby and restaurant are the equal of many 4-star hotels, the service is excellent and the owners and staff are very friendly. Great hotel. Very clean and nice people. Our room was very comfortable and had a balcony with a great view. Had a nice sitting area to read also. Bathroom was great and had a good shower. Everything about the Alpenrose is excellent .The vegetarian food, service, and location are very good.We were not too happy with the choice of vegetarian food and wines compared to previously but overall the super service in the dining area compensated for that . The owners and staff are very courteous and helpful and this hotel deserves a five star status! more
