We spent just one night at this property, this time in Wengen to go sledding. Be aware that at this time of the year, parking is at a premium and not only was the garage full in Lauterbrunnen, but so were the first 2 overflow lots. But with touristic efficiency, there is a frequent free shuttle bus to take you from your car to the train station and from there on to car-free Wengen. The hotel would have provided free pickup at the train station had we told them of our arrival time. I really enjoyed the friendliness and humor of the two younger fellows who often worked the desk. When one found out we were interested in sledding he offered two sleds that the hotel loans to guests! Our room faced south to the mountain views and was of average size, with a nice balcony. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean as is typical in Switzerland. Furnishings were in excellent condition.
