This hotel is in the idyllic village of Murren, Switzerland. We had the room right under the "Hotel Jungfrau" sign. It opened up to a balcony with sweeping views of the alps! The room was very comfortable. The bathroom is small, but my 6' 5" husband was able to navigate the shower without complaint. The service is top notch. Internet... More

Everyone at this place speaks English, it sure helps a lot when trying to figure how to get around. The rooms are very small, no AC, showers are also tiny but everything is kept clean. Views are amazing, we had the back side of the mountains, still was very nice. Free breakfast until 10:30, all sorts of fruits, cold cuts,... More

This hotel is very minimal. The room is small and has no place to store suitcases without emptying them. The bathroom is small, no hooks to hang towels just one rod, the shower was tiny and in great need of a new shower curtain. The curtain clung to your body as was just gross. The beds were comfortable and we... More

Stayed 3 nights in Murren as part of a Rick Steve's Tour. The location of Murren is beyond compare. Two Gondola rides and you are there. Our tiny room faced west, which is uphill and has no view to speak of. That isn't the Jungfrau's fault - it's Rick Steve's. My complaint regarding the Jungfrau is lack of customer service.... More

We stayed here 3 nights during some very warm July weather. The mountain breezes through our open windows were sufficient to cool our room. The staff was very welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. We had a balcony room on the mountain view side and it was worth it. The view is beyond description! We took advantage of the half-board... More

Just got back after ten nights of what has been one of our best three holidays of all time. We had a corner room on the second floor with the sort of views you dream of. Met Marc by accident at the station and he took our bags to the hotel. We booked on a half board basis and ate... More

A family run hotel with beautiful views, comfortable rooms and a laundry service. Restaurant at hotel has great fondue. Sometimes difficult to find someone at the hotel desk. Easy walk to anything in Murren. Free access to a beautiful country community swimming pool.

The hotel was well-run, comfortable, very clean. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Maxi was the only staff member we saw.. As we arrived off-season, shei put us in a nicer room for the same price. The room we had was a little small, but had a balcony and a great view of the Alps. The bathroom was nice and... More

I always visit August/September. Room 123 on the first floor my favourite with a lovely South facing balcony, the staff are friendly and helpful making this an ideal place to stay. The hotel has a very large sunny terrace ideal for relaxing after a strenuous walk, and is a short stroll from the sports centre, lovely swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

There is no place with better mountain views. A lovely, small village in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We had a small balcony facing the mountains and were able to see sunsets, moon rises, sunrises, and breathtaking mountain views from every angle. Opening the double doors also compensated for the lack of A/C and made the room cool with... More
