Hotel basic, but has a good cafeteria-bar, but can be annoying in the summer evenings. You must be in good physical shape to carry our bags up the stairs, as there is no lift. The terrace of each room is shared. It has spectacular mountain views, provided the room is on the upper floors. Friendly staff.

friendly clean hospitable with good food and drink. Excellent host in Ema Spotlessly clean modernised bedrooms. Good varied Italian based cuisine with a price friendly wine list. Ideally situated for those arriving by train. Very similar to staying in a friendly pub. Nothing could be too much trouble.

Everything went smooth from check-in to check-out. Restaurant has great food and everything was well prepared. Room was clean and neat. I love new makeover that they done to the rooms. Looks even better than old one.

We stayed one night in Murren at the Eiger Guesthouse. Is was on May 6 2014, for us everything was pleasant, the town was empty and the weather relatively good, good enough to admire the spectacular view of the mountains and have a walk down to Gimmelwald. The people at Eiger Guesthouse was very helpful and friendly, we occupied a... More

Our stay was great and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They really elevate the guest experience. The rooms were recently renovated and clean if a bit less cozy than they could be, but I didn't see that rustic coziness available in hotels twice the price. I will definitely be back to Mürren and will stay at the Eiger... More

Everyone who stays at the Eiger Guesthouse is made to feel special. The proprietor and her team know how to make everyone welcome. The building is constrained by its original size. So it does not have all the facilities of bigger hotels. So if a lift is important to you, then maybe look elsewhere. If you can manage a few... More

Murren's village pub. Always someone in the bar to chat with - local or visitor. Guinness on draught, interesting Portuguese wines and a good mix of Swiss and International dishes. Rooms have been continuously updated - and the water is always piping hot. A most relaxing place.

This was our 5th stay at the Eiger Guesthouse but our first stay in the winter. As always, all the staff gave us (and our little dog) a very warm welcome and made us feel at home. We stayed in the romantic room which has a lovely comfy double bed, en-suite shower room and a balcony to the side giving... More

We had a really nice experience at the Eiger Guesthouse, and would likely stay again. We had the room on the top level to the left when looking at it, so a pretty small window facing the mountains. It also had a small patio with a chair to sit on to the side of the house. While the room was... More

We normally visit Murren in the summer, but were lucky enough to gain an entry into the Inferno ski race. Actually, where we were really lucky was getting a room at the Eiger Guesthouse. Having stayed here in the summer we were keen to see what Murren was like....with the snow...beautiful. And so to the Eiger Guesthouse. Yet again it... More
