I stayed at the Eiger and thought that the staff was great. They were very very helpful and kind. They did not have thier hand out every minute. I love this hotel! This family-run establishment is fantastic. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and we were absolutely treated with 5-star service (champagne in our bedroom, a dinner window that looks out onto the mountains, etc). The views were breath-taking, the service impecable, the food delicious, and the hiking trails were beautiful! more

Stayed here for six days as part of a hiking tour group. There was also a Japanese tour group, but don't be put off by the idea of tour groups at the Eiger. After a spectacularly scenic train ride, we arrived onto a peaceful plaza with the most incredible alpine views in 3 directions. The 4th direction is the Hotel Eiger, right in front of you.
