The Regina is a Hotel with great character and one of the oldest in Murren. It has lots of Victorian fixtures, wooden parquet flooring, and early 20th century furniture. It has recently changed management and all the staff are committed to making it a great success. The customer service is first class. The bedrooms are not en suite but do... More

A friend and I stayed here for the opening weekend of ski season at the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area. It's a charming old hotel in a stunning location. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The hotel's Victorian age and origins ooze charm (though the age does show in the thinness of the walls). The food is decent and the bar... More

The place to relax and enjoy! Casual and unique. Very refreshing service with heart and passion in hospitality. Traditional Swiss kitchen with excellent with a magnificent local wine list. Perfect ambience. Simple hotel with a great charm. The feeling is like transported to another era. Authenticity in real time...

We stayed for one night and there was a room big enough for 5 which is great for my family. The rooms have sinks in the room and shared bathrooms which was fine for us but not to everyone's taste, all nice and clean. Food in the restaurant was a fixed price and time meal, for Swiss prices it was... More

My husband and I spent one night at Hotel Regina and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel has a wonderful old Victorian feel, and the view from the closed in porch and terrace just can't be beat. We had a room with a shared bath in the hall, which we didn't find to be a nuisance at all.... More

I stayed here with my family for 3 days (it was four of us and we had booked two rooms). The way to the hotel was quite an adventure with a cable car and all, we really liked it. The location is absolutely gorgeous, overlooking the snow-capped mountains in a cute little village. But to be honest, the price is... More

5/5 hotel until the last 30 minutes. They handed me the bill and it was not the quoted price on booking.com, it was 80 CHF more. The first words out of the receptionist's mouth was: "It's not my fault!" We settled on 50 CHF more than quoted. Must be a "tourist" tax. Very disappointing end to a nice stay.

The Hotel Regina is an exquisite old Victorian hotel that shows its age. It's a shame someone doesn't take an interest in saving this beautiful relic from the past! The first room I was given was closet size and facing the street so I upgraded to a double with a view of the mountains and a balcony off the front... More

This is a family hotel, so don't expect any Hotel-like service (e.g. no cleaning of rooms). Shower-Water was cold. Breakfast is poor, service is not great (e.g. we were seated in the room with the Billard table, as they said there is no table for us in the dining room). The room was very small, no bedside table, only one... More

...then you'll love this hotel. Four floors of thin walls, creaky floors, and almost zero amenities. The rooms are small enough that you can't put the two beds (very well broken in twins) together without moving a small standing closet/shrunk or the sink in the room. The bathroom is down the hall (community toilet/sink and two showers to share). Breakfast... More
