My wife and I have just spent a week in Interlaken - part business, part holiday. We stayed in a self contained apartment of Hotel Lotschberg but all hotel facilities were available to us. The location is very convenient - just five minutes walk from a main railway and local bus terminal (but not within hearing!). The owners and staff were absolutely excellent in their endeavours to be of assistance (when asked). The local restaurant recommendations were correct as far as we experienced them and there is an excellent Thai restaurant attached to the hotel (but not operated by it) - as we live in Thailand, we believe that we know Thai food!
The price of the apartment was very reasonable as is the cost of rooms (which were very clean and well kept). The breakfast room was delightful (although we were self catering so did not actually use it). We would certainly go there next time we are in Interlaken and would recommend it to anyone wishing to have good accommodation and friendly... more
