On the main road in the centre of Grindelwald, this hotel is conveniently situated and ideal for a stay in this beautiful town. Our room was rather small and although we didn't have a balcony, we had a wonderful view from the windows, a clear view of the Eiger. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, including fresh fruit salad,... More

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel with its friendly, helpful staff. Clean, spacious room with fabulous view from our balcony towards the Eiger. Staff were very quick to replenish the excellent breakfast buffet for us (which included instructions on how to perfectly boil your own egg!) after it had been cleared by a tour party.

The hotel is right in the middle of town so it is very easy to get to the various attractions. The reception staff were very friendly and helped me organise a Jungfraubahnen pass. The rooms are quite comfortable but could benefit from air conditioning (note that aircon is not common in many Swiss hotels). The breakfast was good and the... More

The staff were really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, except for when I asked for an iron. I was told that they have had 'a bad experience' so there was a strict no ironing policy. The room was immaculately clean, and really spacious for a hotel room. Incredible view from our balcony too. If my shirt wasn't so... More

The reception is so rude. Their hateful attitude has ruined my stay in Grindelwald. I will never come back to that town, even though the mountains are magnificent but almost always hidden by the clouds, the fog.

Nice located in a back street of Grindelwald centre, nice and cozy atmosphere inside, pretty new hotel. I did not sleep over, but we had raclette with 4 persons, including 2x 0.5 litre of white wine: 183.60 CHF!! The raclette pricing with 27.- per person was perfectly ok (portions are huge), but you really feel tricked that a 0.5l bottle... More

I stayed here for a couple of days in sept, had parking across the street which was nice. Room was the typical small rooms but it was nice and quiet. I didnt test the breakfast because i was out of there early each morning.

Frustrating stay because the 3 bedroom apartment we rented was updated nicely. Chalet #226. Kind of modern, not your typical Alpine decor, ample sized rooms. All floors are ceramic tile or wood laminate so everything echoes. Badly. But what I just couldn't get over was the fact that you couldn't access the wifi unless you were in the lobby/office area.... This hotel is fairly close to the train station, and is certainly within walking distance, particularly if your luggage has wheels. Our room was on the first floor and extremely large, with a very large balcony (which was somewhat strange in that it was accessible by the library (public space) and the other room on the first floor, with only half... This hotel is right along the main road in Grindelwald, so it is handy to everything including the train station up to Jungfraujoch and the gondola to First. The hotel was clean and pretty, and the rooms were nice. The bathroom included a bathtub and was clean. Unfortunately there was no wifi in the rooms - only in the restaurant... More
