I did not sleep at the Ramada but only visited the restaurant. The dining room is modern and rather spacious; furthermore it features an inviting terrace with beautiful views over Solothurn. The whole staff was welcoming and smiling. The waitress was friendly throughout my entire dinner. On the downside: service remained efficient until the main course, but significantly slowed down... I stayed again at the Ramada and it becomes more and more my preferred hotel in Solothurn. Still great rooms, hot -long- showers, side windows to open, sun screens to keep your room cool, and as always, a great great staff. I cannot say enough the personnel at the Ramada. I have to admit to the limited parking, because I... More

If you intend to drive there and need to park BOOK a space. Seems English speakers are not in the "club" to know they have VERY Limited parking. Honestly they are false marketing the parking. It does not exist. My story - after an early flight and a 2 hr drive in heavy rain from Zurich I arrived to find... More

We visited with our children...can't say enough about this hotel. Very clean rooms and the bed was so comfortable...crisp sheets, cool to the touch...wow I wish I was there now! Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains...just wonderful. We had to get 2 rooms because there was not room for 4 in a room, but it was worth... More

Location? Directly across from old town, on the river, easy walk to the train station, easy jump to the highway. Rooms? Big by Solothurn standards, good work area with high speed wifi, nice amenities. Nice cafe, and a great top floor bar with a wonderful view.

Generally a nice place to stay. It is a bit of an eyesore in comparison to all the beautiful old houses (a square glass building) but the rooms are nice and the crew is fabulous. Clean rooms, nice bathrooms, free wifi, free apples and chocolate at the reception, a small window to open (!), a small work out room, but... More

The staff was great, I was here for an extended stay for work and the staff made it feel like home after a while. The rooms are clean, the bar is great, the view of the river is beautiful. No complaints from me except the A/C would not get cool enough no matter how low I set it. But would... More

Nice place. Beautiful location just near the water. Very close to the train station Clean rooms, good spa area. Restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is worth it Free apples at the reception;) The only downside - there is nothing much to do in the town, but it has nothing to do with the hotel))

We got a romantic weekend package with Ramada Solothurn including breakfast and spa access, everything worked and went well, breakfast was excellent, gluten free toast were available, with a view to the river. Cleanliness, service, location, everything met the standard of being a 4 stars hotel! And its in walking distance to everywhere you need to go in Solothurn. However,... More
