Depending on what your needs are, this hotel could be a cost effective option. Clean, friendly personnel, functional, quiet with a good internet connection, comfortable bed and acceptable breakfast. Downside is the very basic desk, if you wanted to call it that! For me the big plus is its location: 2 min walk from the Aare river, where you can... More

Vey nice, recently renovated, hotel on the edge of town. The rooms are modern, comfortable, but small. There is no AC and no attendance at night. While there is a tram station in front of the hotel, I think a car is needed to get around. With some rates, breakfast is included, if not it is expensive!

This hotel kind of grew on me. At first, I was a bit disappointed at it being a little out of town. Arriving after 7pm, there is no-one on reception so you have to get a code for the keysafe outside. My room was OK, but it would have been really nice to have had an extra pillow as the... More

We chose this hotel since it was reasonably priced in comparison to others we had researched in Solothurn, Switzerland. Furthermore, on booking our stay with Expedia, we were impressed with the prompt and thoughtful email from the hotel representative giving us directions on how to get there by car or by train and how to enter the building. This was... More

Ok - but just ok There are better value hotels closer to town. If you get a room by the road the trams make everything in the room vibrate! Don't stay there if you have a thing about spinners- there are a lot. Overall OK but Soul-less

The hotel is on a good location in Solothurn. Easy to find and on walking distance from the nice city center. Only problem can be the noise from traffic and the missing air-conditioning. The rooms are with all comfort and very clean. The parking place is immediately at the hotel and is safe. The breakfast is OK, only missing are... More

Squeaky clean hotel with great compact modern rooms Excellent safe parking and a great buffet breakfast Ignore the other comment about 20 min walk unless you are chronically obese or physically disadvantaged Great overnight stay for families and super secure parking for bikers Be sure to check out the road up the weissenstein an the Pitteria is the best low... the hotel is about 10 minutes on foot from the city center. parking and wifi/wlan are free. rooms are modern and spotless clean but very small. Seating for one and a bathroom you might find it hard to turn around in.bare walls and cheap furniture. beds are pretty firm. street side rooms are noisy with light rail running right by... More

Modern hotel in the lovely city of Solothurn; about 20 min walk from the main trainstation (there is a trainstop at 5 min walk) and about 10 min walk from the old town centre. Basic and modern rooms, spotless and very clean. Staff was very friendly. Lovely gummi-bear accents in the hotel and rooms. Our streetview room was soundproof, but... More
