We picked this hotel due to the proximity of the rail station. This was a bit of an issue as we heard all the trains that went through during he night. Good points - clean and tidy, massive rooms, good shower, nice breakfast. Bad points - dated rooms, twin beds and not doubles even though the rooms are so big you could fit in three double beds. We came to Olten on a whim, mainly because it was on the train line. And picked this hotel because it was close to the station. I have never had such a polite welcome. my wife and I stayed at the olten hotel on are way to italy and we do travel around europe each year and the staff where the nicest people we have ever meet in any hotel. the only slight down side was its very close to the railway and you have to keep windows closed at night, but would stay...
