We have driven through Schaffhausen many times but never really visited the city and decided to stop and spend the night while touring the Rheinradweg. Right in city center, near train station, shops and restaurants. Huge rooms- clean, but sparse furniture(we weren't in the room much, though).Friendly and helpful staff.Nice breakfast.

This is a cute little hotel right in the heart of Schaffhausen. Market days you are right in the thick of things, beautiful stalls of flowers etc. Ask for Room 8 (it is a tiny hotel) and you will be on the top floor with a little balcony.
