Design of the Rooms as well as the bathroom very nice, new furniture, good mattresses, everything is as the Standard shall be Top clean. Service personell is very helpful and friendly and speaks good English. Free WiFi in the rooms. Breakfast good, not very much... More

St. Gallen hotels were heavily booked for a conference but managed to get a room here. I was sceptical about being in a 2* but it was not too bad. The weird part was being in an annex about 200 metres from the hotel. The entrance was through a restaurant corridor leading to their toilets. Once in the room on... More

Have visited some hotels in St Gallen. Vadian was inexpensive sowe had some doubts. However, it was just as good if not better than some of its more expensive competitors. Breakfast was abundant and location in the middle of the old town is very good. Train station is within walking distance. Recommend.

For a long stay, rent one of their flats, great location, large and well equipped flat. Clean, great staff. From the very first contact, they were always helpful. This flat has a full kitchen, up to 4-5 people can sleep, good value/price considering the great location. The only bad comment I could make is that there is a noisy neighbor... More

I recently spent a couple of nights staying in The Vadian. Wonderful location right in the old town with all the sights within a few minutes stroll. The hotel is very clean and the staff could not be more helpful. My room was on the street side of the building and was a little noisy in the morning but there... More

We did not stay in the main building of the hotel, but rather in a dependance building located not far, in a small charming street, very close to the Convent and the famous library, a jewel not to be missed. Our room was rather big and lovely, with a very "swiss" characther: wood-covered walls, lots of small windows, nice curtains,... More

Very central hotel in the middle of the old town. Simple spotlessly clean with Swiss efficiency at the desk. Quite small rooms where you can't entertain too much. Bed, desk, flat screen and an armchair. That's it. No social areas at the hotel but plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. You always get what you pay for and this place... More

Comfortable hotel yet nothing remarkable. Great location for exploring St Gallen's old town and visiting the abbey library. Staff were friendly.

My husband and I stayed here in early January. It is a very tidy, clean, efficient hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was better than some three star hotels we stayed in. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to help us coordinate our late luggage delivery. It is also right around... More

We expected a clean neat hotel in the city-center - and were very disappointed. As I booked by phone they were friendly. But they didn't inform me that I had to pay in advance, that one side of the hotel was under construction and that the bath-room was separated from the beds only by a curtain! All these inconveniencies made... More
