Was expecting to be charmed by this small hotel, however we found this to be the more uncomfortable night of our 11 day tour. THe room was small, beds close together, and hot. Opening the windows was necessary but we were on the backside next to parking lot with cars and trucks coming and going loudly all night long. Dinner... More

If you were expecting an average European hotel with average facilities, then you could be disappointed. This hotel is really basic. The room we had was tiny - more like those we stayed at in Tokyo. We had to manouvere ourselves carefully around the room to avoid standing on suitcases or each other! We found the bed to be uncomfortable... More

I too stayed as part of the Trafalgar Tour and even though it was close to the centre of the city which was a plus, the negative was the staff were not friendly and the dinner provided was very basic. You were frowned on if you didn't want a serving. Breakfast was very basic with not much choice. I think... More

I too was on a Trafalgar tour and stayed at this hotel. Staying near the centre of any city in Europe comes at a stiff price. This was not a fancy hotel. It had the basics and I loved that you could easily walk to "everything"!! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast and dinner were tasty. I would... More

This is a rather small hotel, after our tour group (Trafalgar tour) stayed in the hotel was full. One dinner was provided by the hotel, which was rather good. However the breakfast selection is less impressive as compared with the other breakfast spread we have seen in other hotels. Only the bare minimum of sliced bread, ham, cheese, cereal with... More

Hotel is a bit old but kept in shape, tiny rooms, was told some rooms may not even have a tv. Physically metal keys for locks, no wifi anywhere, no AC even when we were there however rooms seems dated but clean.

We stayed in this hotel (family owned we were told) during our visit in Lucerne (Trafalgar tour of course!). It's a small place with everything small - from the rooms to the bathroom, hallways, lifts. The hair dryer looked ancient but working fine; gets hot on your hands though after a few minutes of use so better if you have... More

I too stayed here as part of a Trafalgar tour & have to agree it was the worst accommodation of the tour. Rooms small & outdated, curtains were filthy & had cigarette burns in them. Supplied towels were almost threadbare. Meals very, very average. Apart from the young man at reception, the rest of the staff weren't friendly at all.... More

Stayed here as part of our European Cavalcade Tour for 2 nights. Good location compensates for the small and dated rooms. Very soft bed and pillows. Free WiFi available in reception/dining/rooms but difficult to connect. Included dinner was basic, as was breakfast. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms but staff were happy to supply hot water when requested.... More

We stayed here as part of a Trafalgar European Cavalcade tour. We stayed 2 nights and had a room on the 2nd floor close to the lifts. The room was small but we managed well with 2 suitcases. The bathroom was quite small but manageable. For the time we spent in the room we found it to ok. The hotel... More
