I really liked this hotel, and I am not a drinker. The location is fabulous, right on the water, and there is so much to walk around and see just outside the hotel. It is very close to the train station, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and I really felt like I got to stay in the middle... More

We love this hotel! We had a room that was facing the chapel bridge. The whole view was like it was taken off a postcard! My husband and I got wine and food from coop and spent the nights in the room just gazing at the river (& people watching) and enjoying our food (good value from coop). The room... More

We booked our 3 nights in Lucerne with Pickwick and it was the best hotel of our whole trip! We were given a room with a view of the river, Chapel Bridge and the Swiss Alps. The room (404) was spacious for us and comes with a balcony, which we totally enjoyed having our tea and coffee overlooking the river... More

Changed to this hotel before we left to save money and couldn't have been more pleased - we had a balcony overlooking the Chapel Bridge. It was a little noisy but that may have been our neighbors- they tended to slam their room door. Couldn't hear them when in our room. Couldn't see the tv from both the beds but... More

Using Trip Advisor, of course, we chose Hotel Mr. Pickwick for our two night stay in Lucerne. It is about a 5 minute walk from the main train station and right in the middle of everything. Check in was in the Pub - but easy to do. The staff was very accommodating. The elevator is a bit quirky but our... More

This only applies to rm. 401. Very clean, neat, wonderful beds, nice step-out balcony. Don't be put off by having to check in at the pub bar as they are very accommodating. If you get there early, they can hold your luggage or find a room for you if they have one. Bathroom is ultra-modern with all the latest fixtures... More

We loved this place. Our first impression was how friendly and laid back the staff was. It made me smile just being here. Great view, great location. They gave me a beer when I checked it. Very clean and modern rooms. I am definitely choosing to stay here if we are in Lucerne again. Can't stress enough how great the... More

Stayed with the family of 4 on May 25th. The Hotel is well located in old town of Lucerne overlooking famous Chapel Bridge. The Hotel had Wonderful Bar, and one has to check in at Bar to go to the room. That was indeed an odd thing with the family, but didnt had the problem! We personally liked the Hotel... More

We stayed one night at this hotel. Room was very clean. We had a lakeview over looking the Chapel Bridge. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. Check in and out was easy. I was a little concerned about the pub beneath us, but the noise was minimal and did not disturb me. I would not hesitate to stay at... More

The Hotel Pickwick is a popular tourist hotel and "Swiss lodge" approx. 600 yards from the railway station. Located directly on the banks of the river Reuss, in the heart of the historical old town of Lucerne, the hotel commands a superd view of the world famous wooden "Kapell bridge".
