The Steghof Hotel is pretty basic accommodation, in the style of a backpackers or an Inn. The room itself was very basic, but clean and pretty spacious. If you're after a clean, no frills place to stay this will be fine.

This hotel was by far terrible. first of all, its in the noisest area you could imagine...trains, cars and construction. Secondly, the receptionists were pretty much never there so dont think about counting on them for help. even if the receptionist was there, but it was outside their working hours, dont even think about asking any simple question coz theyll... I personally wouldn't stay there again stay there if your on a budget. Our room backed on to the railway line every time a train went past the room shook but i have to say the room was clean and only took 15 minutes to walk into town.

Please people dont think about staying there, Unfriendly pathetic breakfirst clustophobic rooms everthin is bad nothin is good Try somthing else

Take Bus No. 4 from the bus terminus outside Lucerne Station, and alight on the 4th stop, named Steghof (same name as that of the hotel) and the hotel is just opposite to the bus stop.
