Nice little hotel in the middle of lucerne. near the train station and the lake. the breakfast is unfortunately in the hotel next door. the price-value is very fair. I had a nice stay and there is a great restaurant called "angelique" on the ground floor!!! I can definitely recommend this hotel! more

We stayed for 2 nights. 1.the front lady The front lady was no smiling and very arrogant. We reached the hotel too early to get the room key. We left our luggage and went sightseeing for a while. The hotel front door was closed when we came back to the hotel. We only could see the attached memo by hand... more

Most important excellent location - 5 minutes walk from main train station , Bus terminal. Rooms were clean,big enough for 2 people,clean toilet bathroom. Breakfast was god but you have to walk to next building for the same which is another hotel i guess from the same group. Front office staff was quiet helpful. overall a good experience. more

Cleanliness and location were good, but the single room I had was small and very poorly ventilated. I had to open the window and turn on the fan all the time and yet sill feel sticky in the room. One good aspect though, was the excellent breakfast and breakfast service at the Hotel Monopol. more

We couldn´t believe it, 200 CHF per night and when you hope to find a really nice hotel you see: 1. We stayed at the hotel October 2005, and thought the place was excellent for a 3 star. Good room size, very clean, modern (read "new") layout and furniture, all amenities (it shares breakfast/etc. with the Monopol, a 4* close by). Only downside was the elevator size (yes, I am a crass North American used to great expanses for no reason).... more
