We easily found the hotel from the train station, you can see it from the moment you step out of the station. Entrance is at the rear of the hotel not at the front, the staff were friendly and helpful with tips on the local area. We booked a river view balcony room which was definitely worth it! Room was... Lovely hotel in a classic position in Lucerne overlooking the Kappelbrucke with direct access to the main promenade for walks by the river and various bars and restaurants. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant and food good and varied in price and choice.

There is little to recommend this hotel other than it is one of the closest to the train station. It does have a view of the Kapellbrücke but so does most of Luzerne. Inside it is what might be charitably described as quaint and the cost of a one-night stay was twice the price of a better hotel in Italy.... More

This hotel is in a perfect location. We rode the train to get to Lucerne and upon coming outside to get a taxi, we looked up and saw the hotel right across the water. Great location for walking wherever you need to go. Our room was quite small, but functional. It was in the rear (facing away from the water).... More

We stayed here four nights, in the top floor overlooking the quaint historical buildings that dot the skyline. Our room was smaller than we had expected and with the loft ceiling made it a little tricky for my tall husband.Evan so, it was comfortable and tidy. Pillows and bed were lovely and we slept well. Windows are double glazed and... More

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is two adjacent old buildings right on the lake overlooking the covered bridge. Entrance is at rear, but people also entered from the lakeside promenade. A relative had booked rear room for us, but we were able to upgrade to room overlooking lake with small balcony in the relatively... More

Service was fantastic and the rooms are very nice. No AC, but fans are provided and the beds are very comfortable. A full breakfast was included and the hotel has a really good restaurant on the first floor with a great menu.

We were here for 4 days and you just can't beat the location! It's a 5 minute walk from the train station and if you get a balcony it has an amazing view of the lake and Chapel bridge. It's so lovely to just sit out there, have a drink and take in the view. It was clean and the... More

Located 10 mins walk from station. If you look up to your left after you exit the station, you will see it over the bridge. Room very comfortable, with balcony overlooking the lake and Chapel Bridge. Plenty tea and coffee. Liquid multipurpose soap in bathroom. Very clean and location is excellent. The walking tour as suggested in the guide book... More

The hotel has a good location, but there are other ones also near to it. Its around 10-15 mins away from the railway station and you have to cross some roads and the bridge to reach it. The location may look unsafe for couples at nights , that's what it felt to be there. The rooms are tiny and untidy.... More

Dear Guest thank your very much for your review, which you know is not correct. We told you upon check in that it is strictly forbidden to cook in the room - you did not accept that and cooked in the room with a pan you brought. When you placed the hot pan on the glass table it broke. We... More
