It is an excellent hotel with very nice views of the Lake. We stayed in a junior suite with a fantastic view from a balcony. It has place to park the car, and it is 15 minutes walking to the city center. It has a fantastic atmosphere

We stayed in this hotel for a globus tour. When looking at the hotel from outside and in the lobby, the hotel appears quite beautiful and grand, but don`t let this fool you. The rooms, do not match the appearance of the lobby and the furnishings are not top quality, which is generally what you would expect when going to... More

Great place to stay. Large comfortable room with lake views. Buffet Breakfast better than average with good service. No a/c but easy to keep room cool with large French windows to balcony. Short bus trip or 15 minute walk to town centre or short walk in opposite direction to lake spa and museums. Lots of coach trips but usually depart... More

Adequate room but no air conditioning. A fan is provided. Internet is extra at 5$ Swiss Francs for 24 hours for 1 connected device. My wife and I had to share the connection or pay extra. The speed is good though...unlike free connections. It's about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Lucerne. We were on the 5th floor... More

We stayed one night in this hotel with Globus bus tour. The room was huge and was facing the lake. We were immediately impressed. It is about a 15 minute walk from the actual centre of Lucerne but a pleasant, lake side walk. The room has all the usual amenities desk, chairs, nice bathroom. The bed was a slat bed,... More

We ended up staying here during the hottest week of the summer. There is no air conditioning unless you stay in the renovated side of the hotel that had a fire... but the windows open and we had a fan in the room. It did cool off at night. The room we had was rather large corner room on the... More

We turned up without a reservation and were welcomed. The room was spacious but on a slope, with the headboard at the lower end of the room. We turned the pillows to the other end of the bed. Lovely views of lake Lucerne and a balcony to sit on. Breakfast was good, however, at 270 swiss francs for a double... More

This hotel was part of a bus tour , marketed as a 4 star hotel. Clean and decent sized rooms, adequate bathroom . No air conditioner was a disappointment as we were travelling in summer and we had some 30 degree days. A fan was supplied and was sufficient with the windows open. Buffet breakfast was good for a hotel... More

On arrival we were told that we would have beautiful views of the lake and the alps, given a disgusting view of the back alley. Room conveniences minimal, electricity dodgy, great for backpackers. We were unable to be given free Wi-Fi and had to pay for it and we found out that this is not available at this hotel. The... More

Hotel was clean and very simplistic . Minimalist decor. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Breakfast was very nice. We stayed in this hotel while on a Globus tour, so I can't attest to the value. We were pleased with our stay.
