Our stay at Hotel Schlussel was okay, but we would not recommend to friends. Hotel was old, room was more like a dorm room, bathroom was very small, and hallways were always dark. Breakfast was okay with nice service from the staff, but really nothing special.

We did not stay at the hotel. We had an excellent meal in their restaurant. The service was efficient and quick. great place for brunch.

The staff are friendly. The hotel and rooms are small, but it is clean. It is located next to a church, the quarterly and hourly chime may disturb your sleep.

Nice room -- had everything we needed for a comfortable night. Breakfast was very good with great service. One drawback... the door to the front desk is locked overnight -- another nearby hotel can be contacted in an emergency,

Friendly approach of the owners who also guide you on the best places to visit.However it has facilities for minimum needs.There is no locker in the room nor at the reception.

Our room for three nights was at the front of the hotel, with a balcony overlooking Franziskanerplatz. The square contained a fountain and a Franciscan church in one of the oldest parts of town. The area was exceptionally quiet; amazing considering it is moments from Spreuerbrucke and the other heavily touristed parts of this pretty and popular destination. As ever... More
