We had a very good stop here. Engleberg is a little way out of Lucerne but worth the detour if only for the pretty countryside. The one thing that was a little frustrating was the one & only elevator - a major pain when there is a coach tour stopping here!

Arrived and thought it looked like a decent hotel but tried to check in....confusion over my reservation, sorted quite quickly tho. Got to my room.... big disappointment.
